Perkkie Member Code of Ethics

1. Be Honest About Your Employment

Only share discounts from companies where you are currently employed or have legitimate access. Misrepresenting your employment or affiliation is a violation of this code and may result in account termination.

2. Share Only Legal Discounts

Ensure your employee discount can be legally shared with others. Check your company's policy before submitting. If you're unsure, contact your HR department. Never share discounts that are explicitly prohibited from being shared.

3. Respect the Community

Treat all Perkkie members with kindness and respect. Harassment, discrimination, or abusive behavior will not be tolerated. We're all here to help each other access great deals—let's keep it positive.

4. Protect Personal Information

When you're connected with another member to facilitate a discount, respect their privacy. Don't share their contact information or personal details with anyone else. Use the information only for the intended discount transaction.

5. Don't Abuse the System

Perkkie operates on a fair 1:1 exchange model—you must share a discount to claim one. Don't create multiple accounts, game the waitlist system, or attempt to circumvent our policies. Play fair so everyone can benefit.

6. Be Responsive and Reliable

If another member claims your discount and needs to connect with you, respond promptly and helpfully. Your participation makes the community work. If you can't fulfill a discount you've submitted, update or remove it immediately.

7. Provide Accurate Information

Ensure all discount details you submit are accurate and up-to-date. If your discount changes (new code, updated restrictions, etc.), update your profile immediately. Misleading or incorrect information hurts other members.

8. Report Violations

If you see someone violating this Code of Ethics or suspect fraudulent activity, report it to support@perkkie.com. Help us maintain a trustworthy community for everyone.

9. Understand the Consequences

Violations of this Code of Ethics may result in:

• Warning or temporary suspension
• Removal from waitlists
• Permanent account termination
• Prohibition from creating future accounts

We review violations on a case-by-case basis and reserve the right to take appropriate action to protect the community.
